7HR Quarter Horses produces equine suited for calf roping, team roping, reining, working cow horse and other various performance horse events. These types of horses are known in the industry as performance horses.

The performance Quarter Horse events in which 7HR Quarter Horses compete require an immense amount of athleticism in addition to a sound and intelligent mind.

His involvement with working cattle ranches and his love for the American Quarter Horse led Herman Rose to begin raising the animals himself. The South Texan, joined by his wife Gwenda, initially sought the best performing bloodlines for calf roping and team roping.

In an effort to diversify but still focus on the types of horses they love, Herman and Gwenda have invested resources in top reined cow horse bloodlines and are set to raise some exceptional performance Quarter Horses in the years to come.
